We’re gathering again for another Zenjo Retreat – this time in the beautiful city of Baltimore, Maryland!

Attending a Zenjo Retreat is SO MUCH MORE than just a weekend away tangling. We very thoughtfully design our program to strike the perfect balance between fellowship and art. A Zenjo retreat is equally about strengthening your tangle friendships as well as your tangling skills!
Over the course of the weekend, you’ll be presented with 8 classes from top notch CZT instructors, all of which celebrate the core principles of Zentangle while adding just enough ZIA “zing” to make things fun. Each class will challenge you to learn new things and at the same time be achievable to completion within the provided time – no homework at a Zenjo retreat!
In addition to all the great tangle classes, you can look forward to an evening social event AND an optional fieldtrip to visit a nearby museum celebrating self-taught “intuitive” art.
You’re guaranteed to come away from the weekend with new friends and feeling both relaxed and inspired!
This event is open to ALL TANGLERS and is not restricted to CZTs.

In-person Rate includes all classes, supplies, and meals for this four day, three night retreat. Hotel nights can be booked directly with the Lord Baltimore at our negotiated room rate of $129 or feel free to make your own lodging arrangements elsewhere.
A $250 deposit will be required to hold your spot and the balance due will be charged on May 1st 2024. Registrations after May 1st 2024 will be charged in full.
Your $250 deposit is fully refundable up to May 1st 2024. Cancellations after May 1st 2024 and before July 1st 2024 will be refundable minus the deposit. Cancellations after July 1st are not refundable. In all cases, if your place is taken by someone on the waiting list your entire registration fee will be refunded including your deposit.
Bringing a non-Tangling Partner?
If you have a non-tangling partner travelling with you they are welcome to lodge with you at the Lord Baltimore hotel. If you'd like to include them in meals, the Friday night social, and optional tour, please choose those add-ons in the registration form. The charge for eight meals and the Friday night social will be $495 for your non-tangling guest.
If you are unable to attend in person you may wish to register for the video series only. Videos will be published after the retreat concludes and will be available for you to watch at your convenience indefinitely.

Joanna is an experienced Certified Zentangle Teacher from mid Wales, in the UK. She has been teaching Zentangle regularly since 2017. Jo has run in-person classes in the UK, Rome, Greece, India, Ireland and the USA and now regularly teaches interactive online Zentangle classes to students from all over the world. Jo set up her online Zenjo Tangle Club in April 2020.

Darcy Ellarby lives in Burnsville Minnesota and has been drawing in the Zentangle Method since early 2017. She is a Certified Zentangle Instructor and teaches both online via Zoom and in person in the Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota metro area.
